Art should be accessible to everyone

Graffiti and street art are often said to be art that is accessible to everyone – precisely because it is on the streets we all walk by. However, although it belongs to everyone, not everyone can see and experience it. Through 3D models of murals, we want to bring street art closer to blind and partially sighted people who can feel the models and hear the story of street art through expert lectures.

Street Art Belgrade book

The book “Street Art Belgrade” presents a comprehensive overview of Belgrade’s street art, both stylistically and backwards through time. From aphorisms and stencils to complex graphic solutions, letters and murals, through over 550 photographs, which the author Aleksandar Đorđević recorded in the last six years, the book provides a comprehensive insight into the unique world of Belgrade graffiti. The book also contains quotes from some of the most active and present cartoonists and street artists on the Belgrade scene: Artez, Junk, Rage, TKV, Lortek and Nikola (Alone).

Tours and outdoor lectures

Join our team, serious walkers, professional explorers and absolute lovers of Belgrade. Since our focus is graffiti and street art, we will introduce you to some pearls of street art, but through the prism of the history of our city. Welcome! The guide is Ljiljana Radošević, art historian and licensed tourist guide. In addition to spending quality time outside, you will also have the opportunity to get to know those peculiarities of Belgrade that you might not notice at first glance. However, you will find that there is nothing more beautiful than sunlit graffiti after a walk through the streets you usually bypass.

What our street looked like in 2021

Bearing in mind that we are all going through challenging periods of changes in the way we organize life and work, and that sometimes it seems that nothing is happening, we wanted to look back on the year that is about to end. Our desire is to show that a strong community, once naive enthusiasm and love for the field we are dealing with can overcome challenges and make progress that is extremely valuable.

Graffiti and street art are an unavoidable part of the urban environment. To imagine a city without graffiti would be the same as to imagine a city without cars. Graffiti is everywhere, exposed to views, weather conditions and emotions – and that makes it ephemeral. The goal of this project is to preserve and document Belgrade’s graffiti and street art.
