Overview of our street art tours
We offer tours at six locations in the city
Right in the center
On this walk you will get to know some of the first murals in the city from the 1980s, up to the latest works that may have been created the other day. The city center has numerous graffiti that may not be visible at first glance or that are even intentionally hidden. You will find out who Zuba, the King of Belgrade and Saint Jest are, what are the connections between templates and the old epic about Banović Strahinja, what is Graveyard Trash Romanticism and many other stories found on the streets of our city.
Locations: center and upper Dorćol.

Donji Dorcol
As the former Austro-Hungarian part of the city, lower Dorćol, like Savamala, was neglected for a long time, and has received exceptional attention in recent years. Street artists have been particularly active in the last 10 years or so through large murals created as part of the Meeting of Styles, the Reconstruction Festival and the Runaway Festival, which beautify the entire neighborhood wall by wall. We will also see numerous works created within the old Bajlonija brewery in Cetinjska Street, which represents a new focal point of nightlife.

Savamala
About a hundred years ago, Savamala was one of the most beautiful newly built parts of the city, connecting the port and the city center. Over time, it fell into disrepair, until a wave of revitalization began in the 2000s, which attracted many street artists to give their stamp and revive this neglected part of the city. Although a large number of murals have been destroyed today, on this walk we will have the opportunity to see murals that were created within the framework of Belgrade festivals, as well as those created within the framework of independent culture. In essence, the story of Savamala is also the story of how street art is used today.

Block 45
Did you know that the graffiti movement in Serbia originated in Belgrade, precisely in Block 45? The beginnings of graffiti are inextricably linked to Yugoslav modernist, brutalist architecture and the history of New Belgrade, where a hybrid of socialist utopia and American popular culture emerged. Covering the forerunners of the 1980s and the development of the graffiti movement in Belgrade during the 1990s, Blok 45 is today an open-air gallery where we can see not only some of the biggest names of the graffiti movement in Serbia, but also works that have survived for more than 20 years.

Vračar
Vračar is the smallest municipality in Belgrade, but rich in street art. On this walk you will hear stories about the history of Belgrade graffiti and you will see some of the most significant works on witchcraft walls. And of course, there will be several interesting local stories about works and artists who live and work in this municipality. We will discover large murals created as part of the festival, to small hidden locations that even die-hard Vračar residents don’t know about.

Hippodrome and Topčider
The fence around the hippodrome is one of the oldest halls of fame in Belgrade, which has existed for about 20 years. It is one of the few spacious locations where artists can work undisturbed in large formats. Like any hall of fame, the graffiti and murals are constantly changing. Although we can find a few older works, the most present are active artists of the last few years, so it’s a perfect place to get to know “who’s who” on the Belgrade scene. The pylons of the Bridge on Ada and the underpass where tram 3 to Topcider passes are also very active walls in the last 10 years or so with numerous artists from the country and abroad.

The BSBSA project connects artists from Serbia, Romania and Bulgaria
The BSBSA (Belgrade Sofia Bucharest Street Art) project brings together artists from Bulgaria, Serbia and Romania with a clear mission: to encourage the creation and circulation of European art. In order to achieve this, the BSBSA project brings together artists from different backgrounds. Through collaboration on transformative art installations, male and female artists are redefining public spaces in Bulgaria, Romania and Serbia.
Talks, EU projects and tour
We hosted representatives of street art organizations from Romania and Bulgaria, and during the weekend dedicated to street art, a free street art walk around Vračar was held in cooperation with the Božidarac cultural center.
Landscape of city streets – a walk within Good Urban Life
On Saturday, June 11, as part of the Good Urban Life program, we held the first five-hour walk, during which we wanted to show the different faces of the street. The "Landscape of City Streets" walk led the participants through street art and pointed out its connection with history.
Third Street Art Weekend in Vračar
Together with partners from the cultural center Božidarac, we organized the Street Art Weekend in Vračar for the weekend of June 26 and 27.
