At the time when Dulait started doing his characters around the city they were so unusual and so unlike the others we could see around the city that hes artworks became immediately recognizable. He wanted to do something different and with these characters he could.

He started doing graffiti in 1999 but very quickly switched almost exclusively to characters. Very early on he met Punk who introduced him to the other active graffiti writers at the time and his development was very quick. As the local scene at the time was already stratified in three generations of graffiti writers, he could have fit in the youngest one but during next couple of years he worked with all of them. Younger ones like Sektor and NecOne were also very much into character design so when they all worked together their vision and styles matched perfectly. But during his first two years he was working with the guys from 90210 Crew where he had a chance to properly learn technique and develop his ideas.

His characters were very specific and he took a pride in making them look different. At the time most of the older graffiti writers were doing B-Boy or Hip-Hop characters so his approach to this topic was unprecedented. His little creatures looked like computer modeled, promo designs that took a turn to the weird side. This characteristic is going to be the one he will take and develop in the future.
