Art in Passing

The goal of the "Art in Passing" project is to bring street art closer to blind and partially sighted people who are excluded from this visual expression.

Street art is considered the freest form of art that is accessible to everyone – precisely because it is located on the streets we all pass by. However, although it belongs to everyone, not everyone can see and experience it.

The goal of this project is to prepare and install 3D models of murals located in Belgrade. Through 3D models of murals, we want to bring street art closer to blind and partially sighted people who can feel the models and hear the story of street art through professional lectures. The murals were chosen based on the appearance that is suitable for 3D processing as well as on the basis of the size and availability of the location itself. Along with the 3D models, QR codes are placed that lead to a site with more information about the project. All this is accompanied by a series of lectures on the topic of street art.

The first models of the mural were installed in 2021 on the occasion of October 15, which has been celebrated all over the world since 1992 as the Day of the Blind and Visually Impaired.
