In cooperation with the Belgrade Irish Festival, we are organizing two street art tours on March 13 and March 17. The tours will be conducted in English due to the presence of guests from Ireland.

Street art tour “Murals”
Belgrade is currently one of the most attractive cities in Europe in terms of street art. If you are not used to paying attention to some less obvious works of art during your walks and thus discovering another face of this city, go for a walk with us. This time our topic will be street art murals as one of the most interesting forms of street art. In this way, we will be able to tell the story of the mural that will be created as part of the visual program of the Belgrade Irish Festival. The tour will begin in front of a mural painted by the famous Irish street art artist Holly Pereira at 16 Maršala Birjuzova Street. By painting a large-scale mural inspired by traditional motifs from Serbian rugs, Holly celebrates the skills and work that women traditionally put into both carpet weaving and other folk handicrafts.

Street art tour “Donji Dorćol”
As the former Austro-Hungarian and Jewish part of the city, lower Dorćol, like Savamala, was neglected for a long time, and has received exceptional attention in recent years. Street artists have been particularly active in the last ten years through large murals created as part of the Meeting of Styles, the Reconstruction festival and the Runaway festival, which beautify the entire neighborhood wall by wall. We will also see numerous works created within the old Bajlonije brewery in Cetinjska street, which represents a new focal point of nightlife.
